The American Idol underdog pulls it off with an AI victory. With all the attention and predictions that Adam Lambert would claim the American Idol title. It goes to show it doesn't always matter what the judges say as the viewers cast their vote for their favorite Idol. Congratulations to 23 year old Kris Allen in an upset that was supposed to be a shoe in for Lambert 27. Kris Allen will receive a record contract for his win on AI.
